Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. To cancel:
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Late Bloomer, then Cancel Subscription.
You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period. Apple's full guide is here.
How do I switch plans?
Same path as above (Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Late Bloomer), then tap a different plan. Apple handles the proration.
How do I get a refund?
App Store refunds are issued by Apple, not by us. Use Apple's refund tool: reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple declines and you believe the refund is owed under EU consumer-protection law, email us at hello@latebloomer.app with the App Store receipt and we'll review.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Privacy → Delete my account. Production data is removed within 30 days; encrypted backups within 90. (Tax records are retained for 6 years as Irish law requires — see the Privacy Policy.)
How do I export my data?
In the app: Profile → Privacy → Export my data. You'll receive a JSON file at your account email within 24 hours.
What if I don't want to share Apple Health data?
You don't have to. The app works on your symptom check-ins alone. To revoke or change permissions any time: iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Late Bloomer.
How does the equipment rental work?
Available in Ireland only, €45 for the full 12-week programme. Equipment is shipped to the address you provide on order and must be returned in working condition (fair wear excepted) within 14 days of programme end. See the Terms for the detail on damage and non-return.
I'm on the Coached plan — when does my coach reply?
Coaches respond within two working days. If you've not heard back within that window, email hello@latebloomer.app and we'll follow up.
I can't sign in / I lost access to my email
Email hello@latebloomer.app from any address with as much account detail as you can provide (name on the account, approximate sign-up date, last four digits of the card on file if you used Stripe for equipment). We'll verify and help you regain access.
The app is crashing or behaving strangely
Tell us:
- Your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About)
- The Late Bloomer app version (Profile → bottom of the screen)
- What you were doing when it happened, and whether it happens every time
